An excellent night of basketball finals was held at the Auburn High School on Friday 23rd October.
The 2015 Victorian Champions are:
Victorian Championship Men – Roar – defeating Raiders 39 to 23 (top scorers Josh Ginnane and Frazer Dawber 9pts each, and Angus Brauns 8 points)
Victorian Championship Women – Knights – defeating Avengers 16 to 14 (top scorers Danielle Burden 7 points, Monica Ward 6 points)
Division 2 Champions – Ring Burners – defeating Rockets 20 to 13 (top scorers Jack Lew-Kee and Alex Gialon 6 points each, Lucas Stevens 7 points)
Division 3 Champions – Razors – defeating Storm 21 to 18 (top scorers James Bryden 10, Harrison Spears 7)
Division 4 Champions – Astronauts – defeating Ravens 21 to 7 (top scorers David Frith 19 points, Daniel McMahon 5 points)
The Graeme Gooding and Avis Meddings Awards (for most valuable players in the Grand Final games) will be announced and presented at the Presentation night on 27th November.

The Summer season will commence on Friday 6th November. There will be three weeks of competition, then the Christmas party and then we break over Christmas returning on 5th February.
