We are delighted to confirm that basketball will return on Friday nights, commencing on 4th Feb, at both stadiums, with a full schedule of games. Please take note of the following which applies at both stadiums:
- Entry will be free for all players and attendees for one week, with the standard $4 to play and $1 to watch coming back from 11th Feb onwards. Power Assist are very proud to have provided basketball free of charge for all of 2021 and we hope it has helped everyone to continue to participate without financial burdens.
- COVIDSafe Masks – All attendees over the age of 12 must wear a mask at all times, including walking to and from the stadium. People participating in a game can remove their mask, during their game (ie players, coaches and referees).
- COVIDSafe Contact tracing – All attendees over the age of 12 must sign in using the QR Code (manual register is available if you do not have a phone that can be used). All players must be registered in PLAYHQ for the Power Assist Summer season (Nov 2021-May 2022).
- COVIDSafe Vaccination – All attendees must provide proof of double vaccination (digital or paper copy) upon arrival.
- COVIDSafe Density Limits – Players may be supported by only one other person (parent / carer / spectator). Players must wait outside for their game, and leave straight after their game.
- Be COVIDSafe !! Do not attend if you have tested positive, or if you have any of the symptoms, or if you are a close contact or are in isolation.
If, for any reason, we have to cancel games / close the stadiums, then we will post alerts on our website (www.powerassist.org.au) and on our Facebook page.
