Every year the Australian National Championships attract the best players from each state. Known as the Ivor Burge Championships, these games are specifically for our community. In February 2019 the Championships will be played in Canberra. Basketball Victoria has recently appointed the coaching staff and are now conducting Try Outs for the players with the aim to select the best 10 players to represent Victoria. There will be a Men’s team and a Women’s team (both open age). Flyers will be available at both stadiums on Friday night and we encourage you to have a go – it’s an excellent opportunity to get some specific coaching and improve your own skills.
