Hawthorn Stadium – 6.40pm – Division 4: In a huge upset in the final game of the season (last Friday), last placed Wizards unexpected defeated top team Astronauts which resulted in the new team Ashwood Champs geting relegated to 5th place. Apologies to all of the Ashwood Champs who left the stadium excited to be playing in their first finals, but sadly you have ended up 5th on the ladder – which is still a fantastic effort for your first season of basketball. Finals are: Court 1 Astronauts V Wizards, and Court 2 Redbacks V Ravens.
Hawthorn Stadium – 7.20pm – Division 3: Again the final placings on the ladder depended on the results of the games played in the last round – so very exciting for quite a few teams. Finals are: Court 1 Galaxy Strikers V Rebels, and Court 2 Dragon Snakes V Rage.
MLC Stadium – 6.40pm – Division 2: With only six teams in Division 2 the competition has been very close for the whole season. Finals are: Court 1 Outlaws V Razors, Court 2 Leppards V Renegades.
Hawthorn Stadium – 8.00pm – Womens Championship: We are expecting another set of very high standard games from the Women’s teams as they play for a place in the Grand Final. Finals are: Court 1 Knight V Angels, Court 2 Wild Cats V Avengers.
Hawthorn Stadium – 8.40pm – Men’s Championship: Final placings for this season were again decided in the final games played last Friday – such a close contect between these teams. Finals are: Court 1 Roar V Raiders, Court 2 Doncaster V Blaze.
